
After many weeks of shooting, some new prints are on their way.
Here is an early preview of one in the pipeline, a 30 second exposure, at dusk, looking east from Quadra Island at the far northern end of the Salish Sea.
Held in place by the little stone on the left, this pair of slim, elegant trunks drifted quietly at the shore, their hard line repeated softly above. In the distance lies Marina, Cortes and Redonda islands framed by the peaks of the coastal mountain range.
Taken two days before the bomb-cyclone storm in November, this was one of those warm, peaceful evenings we often get here in the late autumn of the Pacific Northwest...where only night's deep, cooling darkness can make us head inside.
