Horizons Line

Horizons Line is the most consistently popular collection, stemming from an environmental project called Weather Patterns which keeps track of new climate records. In that series, over 14 years, I made one photograph every day at the shore, compiling them later into large patchworks of images.

I started to stay a little longer and make a second exposure to capture particularly stunning weather conditions that presented themselves. These “second exposures”, carefully edited down to the best, became the collection you see here.
